Spending time on my own helps me decompress and breath. I don’t need to explain to anyone why I am pottering around the house and no one is around to see how mindless my activities are. It’s great. You are giving yourself permission to just be. And the goal is to accomplish nothing. It’s also really difficult if you are doing it for the first time. But the main focus is to let go of any expectations you have of yourself, during this time, while you are on your own.
