Add this address to your notable coffee in Paris list.
In my quest for a proper cup of coffee in Paris, I found this little gem.
They serve Lomi coffee, which is a coffee roasting company based in Paris. The coffee is good and their menu is diverse. They offer milk alternatives, like oat milk, which is my favorite.
This little cafe is located next to the historic Shakespeare and Company Book Store which is often frequented by tourists. So if you like people watching, grab a spot outside and practice your “flânerie” (very French).
You also have a spectacular view of the Notre Dame from across the river. The coffee shop is small and can get crowded. I recommend going during the week, in the morning or early afternoon, when the place is a bit quieter.

Shakespeare and Company Cafe is on the “Simone’s Notable Coffee in Paris” list. You can access it here. I created this list because I found that third-wave coffee in Paris can be difficult to find. Add this list to your Google Maps to access it from anywhere at any time. It’s free – a gift from me to you.
